Former Wittekindshof crack SWEET THOMAS, who won the 134th German St. Leger (G3) in our colours, finished a very good third today in the Neds Sandown Cup at Caulfield, a Listed race over a distance of 3200 metres with a purse of AUSD 160,000. Craig Williams was in the saddle for trainer Matthew Smith, who has been preparing the nine-year-old since he moved to Australia for a headstrong community of owners.
