NIGHTDANCE GUILIA, trained by Sascha Smrczek for Oliver Engel, recorded her first career win on soft turf at Krefeld today. Following a third place in the auction race at Hanover last month, the Guiliani-filly out of NIGHTDANCE SCALA was the horse to beat in the 1,700 metres maiden challenge under Sibylle Vogt. The former Wittekindshof runner did full justice to this role and won safely by a length.
